💌 Bookish thoughts, cozy vibes, and honest feelings — all in one place. I review romance books, from sweet to steamy (and all the messy feelings in between!). I hope my reviews help you discover your next favorite read! 📚✨
Problematic Summer Romance
Author: Ali Hazelwood This is the first book I’ve read by Ali Hazelwood and… I’m in awe. Her writing is so immersive — from the witty banter to the rich setting, every page pulled me in. I laughed out loud, swooned hard, and watched the characters grow in such real, touching ways. The plot? Smart. The humor? On point. The ending? CHEF’S KISS 💋 I’m officially obsessed. This is a 1000/10 read for me, and I’m sad-happy that it’s over. 🥲 At this point, Ali Hazelwood might just be my new favorite author. 🤗✨
Beg, Borrow, or Steal
Author: Sarah Adams I’d give this book a 10 if I could — I loved it so much! ❤️ The characters and their development were incredible, and their stories had so much depth. It’s definitely a romance (yes, there are steamy scenes 😉), but it also offers powerful life lessons. Some scenes made me sad, others had me laughing, and a few made me go “oh wow 🤩.” This book really has it all. I was happy but also a little sad to finish it — that’s how you know it’s a good one! 😅
The Pumpkin Spice Café
Author: Laurie Gilmore I was captivated by this book from the very beginning, and each chapter pulled me in even more. The story between Jeanie and Logan is full of romance, a few steamy scenes, humor, strong character development, and meaningful messages about dealing with internal struggles—which I absolutely loved. I’ll definitely be reading the other books in this series! I highly recommend this book to anyone, especially those who love romance novels—and even more so if you’re into the Grumpy Sunshine trope.
